Creating Killer Web Sites
Considered a heritic by HTML purists, David Siegel pushes the limits of HTML to
get the page layout he wants. With the advent of cascading style sheets, he and
the purists might find some middle ground. This site mostly promotes his book,
but there is some good stuff here.
Net Tips for Writers and Designers
Another David Siegel site. Some of the information is dated, but still good.
All Things Web

simple page layout as a way to make a site as usable as possible to as broad an
audience as possible.
